1. The Service
FNSprites is a Discord bot providing Fortnite Sprite collection tools, collection verification, catalog information, optional Epic Games account-linked checks, and collection-related Discord role management.
Features may be experimental, incomplete, changed, suspended, or removed at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be permitted to use Discord, Epic Games services, and the relevant Discord server under their respective rules and applicable law. You must not use the bot on behalf of another person without authorization.
3. Account Authentication
Epic Games authentication is optional unless clearly required for a feature. You must authenticate only through official Epic Games pages presented by the bot.
Never submit your Epic Games password, two-factor authentication code, backup code, or other login secret directly into a Discord message or bot modal unless the modal expressly requests a short-lived authorization code produced by Epic.
You are responsible for the security of your Discord and Epic Games accounts and for all activity performed through them.
4. Saved Login Consent
If persistent login is supported, credentials will only be saved after an explicit confirmation. By enabling saved login, you authorize the bot to use the saved credentials to perform future Fortnite account checks and related collection-role updates.
You may revoke that permission through an available removal command or by contacting the bot operator. Removal may prevent future automatic checks.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit credentials or account data belonging to someone else without permission.
- Use the bot to impersonate another user or falsely claim collection progress.
- Attempt to bypass permissions, role requirements, rate limits, or security controls.
- Probe, exploit, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the bot or its infrastructure.
- Use automated means to abuse commands or create excessive requests.
- Use the service in violation of Discord's, Epic Games', or applicable server rules.
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
6. Collection Results and Discord Roles
Collection data and role determinations may be generated from user-submitted messages, uploaded evidence, Epic Games account data, catalog rules, automated parsing, or staff review.
Results may be incomplete or inaccurate due to unavailable sprites, game bugs, delayed account updates, parsing errors, API changes, inconsistent user input, or technical failures. Discord roles are community features and do not create ownership rights or official recognition from Epic Games.
Staff may correct, deny, remove, or re-evaluate collection roles where the underlying information appears inaccurate, outdated, fraudulent, or incomplete.
7. Third-Party Services
FNSprites depends on third-party services including Discord, Epic Games, and hosting providers. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical restrictions also apply.
FNSprites is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by Epic Games unless expressly stated otherwise. Fortnite, Epic Games, and related names and assets belong to their respective owners.
8. Availability and Changes
The bot is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent data retention, compatibility with future Discord or Epic Games changes, or continued access to any external API.
We may alter commands, eligibility rules, parsing behavior, saved-login support, role thresholds, or other functionality at any time.
9. Suspension and Termination
Access may be restricted or terminated for abuse, security concerns, suspected fraud, violations of these terms, violations of community rules, or conduct that risks harm to users or the service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FNSprites is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the bot operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, account access, roles, reputation, profits, or opportunities resulting from use of or inability to use the bot.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Privacy
Use of the bot is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be processed, stored, shared, and deleted.
13. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as the bot changes. Continued use after updated terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
